One of the features from here on will be sports betting – I’ve been an avid gambler on many different things, but it all started with horse racing and I’m excited to get stuck into some traditional wagering as well as posting about online poker and online casinos.

I’ll let you in on a little secret – I’ve been working on a soccer/football system that I reckon can make a steady profit over the course of a season and I’m going to post some of my tips on here for free so you can see how I go. I’ll explain some more details about it over the coming weeks, but since the first tip is on a game later tonight, I thought it best to just get that tip out there and start the ball rolling.

It’s in the English Premier League (EPL) and tonights game between Aston Villa and Manchester City, my tip is for Manchester City to come away with a win away from home – many people are tipping a close game, but I’m confident that the 2.62 odds on Betfair for Manchester City are a good value bet – I’ve also taken a few pick the score options, a 1-2 or 1-3 result are my main targets.

Ok, maybe that’s going a bit over the top, but I think you’ll like what we’ve got planned – Gamblz.com is all about ‘the community’ and ‘the conversation’, but rather than concentrate the interaction on a forum (that’s so 1990’s), we’ll be stepping up to the next level by blogging and using social networking sites (eg. Twitter) to build personal communities where you control what you see and who you listen to.

If you’re scratching your head trying to figure out what’s a Twitter and where does this blog thing come into it, then stick around, it’ll all make sense soon. The key point you need to know is that you are in control and it’s completely up to you on how elaborate or simple you want to make it.
